CompanyBernard B. Jacobs Theatre

Nov. 27, 2021
Notes: In previews, saw the performance the day after Sondheim passed away T_T. Didn't like the gender-switched "You Could Drive A Person Crazy"

Kimberly AkimboLinda Gross Theater, Atlantic Theatre Company
New York, NY
Nov. 13, 2021
Notes: I LOVED this show. It reminded me that theatre doesn't have to be heavy or bleak or integrate some big message or allegory. Original musicals are so rare these days, and it really is a shame. It didn't 'feel' Broadway-bound, and I don't mean that in a derogatory way, because not every musical needs to be. There was also the coolest ice skating scene - have no idea how they pulled it off.
